We're excited to announce the relaunch of Sandwiched.me with a completely revamped interface and powerful new features. Version 2 brings comprehensive analytics, real-time monitoring, and deeper insights into the world of MEV on Solana, with an initial focus on surfacing sandwich attacks.
Our new Sandwich Flow and Details panels provide visibility into sandwich attacks. For each sandwich transaction, you can now see the complete flow between bots and victims, with precise amounts shown for SOL and other tokens involved in the transactions.
As an example, this February 25th transaction shows a sandwich attack with a profit of over 8,313 SOL extracted from a victim who traded into a low liquidity pool.
The Financial Details panel breaks down exactly how sandwich bots generate their profits by showing extracted amounts, transaction fees, and even tip payments.
New volume charts where you can see daily and hourly volume over 30-day, 7-day, and 24-hour periods. In this 30-day chart you can see the Feb 25 spike from the example sandwich we discussed earlier.
The Top Sandwich Sources visualization reveals which applications are most frequently targeted by sandwichers. This horizontal bar chart shows both relative swap volume and value extracted, highlighting that certain applications are disproportionately affected, relative to their swap volume
Our OG Sandwich Stream feature got a new makeover and provides a live feed of sandwich transactions as they occur on the network. Each entry shows the bot identifier, victim address, and the flow of tokens between them, allowing for real-time monitoring of MEV activity.
We've added comprehensive leaderboards for both individual sandwich transactions and the most active sandwichers. Clicking the rank of top sandwiches will bring you to the details page.
The "Most Sandwiched Liquidity Pools" treemap visualization shows which pools are most frequently targeted, with POPE/SOL clearly being the most exploited. Hovering over the visualization provides additional details about each pool.
Our Validator Sandwich Percentage chart reveals which validators are processing the most sandwich transactions, relative to the number of blocks produced. This data shows that some validators have sandwich rates over 60%. We show the top validators (by stake) at the bottom as a reference.
In the last 30 days alone, Sandwiched.me has tracked:
MEV extraction through sandwich attacks represents a significant form of value extraction in the DeFi ecosystem. By providing transparency and data-driven insights, Sandwiched.me v2 aims to help traders, developers, and protocol designers better understand these dynamics and implement more effective protection mechanisms.
We'll be publishing regular reports based on our data, highlighting trends and new patterns in sandwich attacks. Our team is also working on developing predictive models that could help users minimize their exposure to these types of MEV extraction.
Stay tuned for more updates, and explore the platform at sandwiched.me to see these powerful new features in action.
